• Backend Engineering: Developed RESTful APIs for file and folder management, secure sharing links, JWT-based authentication, and activity tracking using Django REST Framework and PostgreSQL.
• Reliability & Performance: Implemented health and readiness endpoints, Redis integration, and production-oriented application configuration to support reliable deployment and operational monitoring.
• Design Patterns: Implemented the Repository Pattern and Service Layer to centralize data access, reduce coupling between business logic and PostgreSQL, and simplify testing and future maintenance.
• DevOps & Deployment: Containerized the application with Docker and Docker Compose, and deployed it to Kubernetes using StatefulSets, persistent storage, resource limits, HPA, restricted security contexts, NGINX Ingress, and GitHub Actions CI.
• API Documentation: Documented REST API endpoints using OpenAPI and Swagger UI, covering authentication, file and folder management, sharing links, and request/response schemas to simplify API testing and integration.

Developed and optimized a Django REST API for sports venue booking, with a focus on performance, data consistency, and reliable deployment.

• Performance Optimization: Reduced average API response time from 80ms to 30ms using Redis caching for frequently accessed venue data.
• Database & Concurrency: Prevented double-booking under concurrent requests using PostgreSQL transactions and select_for_update(), ensuring atomic reservation of available time slots.
• Load Testing: Benchmarked API performance with Locust, optimizing database queries, caching, and Gunicorn configuration to achieve approximately 210 requests/second with a 0–1% error rate under concurrent load.
• CI/CD & Kubernetes: Containerized and deployed the Django REST API, PostgreSQL, and Redis using Docker and Kubernetes, configuring Deployments, StatefulSets, persistent storage, health probes, and GitHub Actions CI for automated code quality checks and testing.
• Monitoring & Observability: Integrated Prometheus and Grafana to monitor application health, Kubernetes resource utilization, and workload performance, improving visibility into resource consumption and service reliability.

Developed a backend application for educational course and bootcamp management using FastAPI.

• Backend Development: Developed RESTful APIs using FastAPI to manage educational courses, bootcamps, user registration, and enrollment workflows.
• Authentication & Administration: Implemented JWT-based authentication and administrative panel functionality to secure access and support administrative operations.
• Ticketing System: Built a ticketing system to manage user support requests and track issues throughout the resolution process.
• Database Management: Integrated SQLAlchemy for database operations and Alembic for version-controlled database schema migrations.
• Containerization: Containerized the application using Docker to ensure consistent development and deployment environments.

Developed a Django REST API with event-driven processing and a multi-database architecture for core application data and activity tracking.

• Backend Engineering: Developed RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework for user authentication, profile management, posts, comments, and likes, with PostgreSQL as the primary database.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Implemented an event-driven architecture using Celery and Redis to process application events asynchronously, decoupling activity logging from core API workflows.
• Multi-Database Architecture: Integrated PostgreSQL for core application data and MongoDB for activity logs, separating transactional data from activity tracking and storing contextual metadata such as IP addresses and user agents.
